Case: Beneficial ownership research for a major bank (Due Diligence)
Task: the client, a top-10 bank, required a full picture of the beneficial ownership structure of a target company before acquiring stakes.
Solution: a combination of OSINT methods and queries to closed registries. 15+ sources in Russia, Cyprus and the BVI were screened. The ownership chain was reconstructed through 4 levels of holding companies.
Result: a structured report (PDF plus Excel) with the evidence base, a relationship map and a risk assessment. The deal went through without surprises.
